Linkpop is retiring

Here’s what you need to know and where to go next

If you’ve been using Linkpop to share all your important links via Instagram, TikTok, or other social channels, you’ve probably seen the news: Linkpop is shutting down on 7th July 2025.

That means any links currently pointing to your Linkpop page will stop working unless you act fast. But don’t panic, we’ve got you. Let’s break it down and help you choose the best alternative that won’t just replace Linkpop but give you more flexibility and features.

Why is linkpop going away?

Linkpop was created by Shopify to help users share multiple links in one spot (like your online shop, newsletter, social channels, etc.) a great little tool, especially for creators and small businesses. But Shopify is now sunsetting the platform as they shift focus to other parts of their ecosystem.

That means after 7th July, anyone clicking your Linkpop page will land on an error message. It’s not just an inconvenience, it’s a potential lost customer, missed sale, or dropped follower. So now’s the time to switch.

What should you switch to?

There are lots of “link in bio” tools out there. I’ve researched a few and here are our top picks depending on what kind of business or content you’re running:

1. Koji (soon to be Link in Bio by Beacons)

Best for creators who want to monetiseKoji has rebranded to Beacons, and it’s a solid, intuitive choice if you want to do more than just link out.

You can:

Sell digital products

Take tips or donations

Collect email addresses

Embed videos or playlists

The interface is modern, mobile first and very easy to customise. You can even link in your existing shop if you’re selling from Etsy or a standalone website.
